As per an article published by TOI, Chennai Times recently, we could see how the post Corona stress has affected the sleep pattern of Indians. It discovered 54% of the respondents accepted that their sleeping pattern was affected due to the induced stress after Corona. While 24% of the people’s sleeping gets interrupted ,13% people agreed that they have trouble going to sleep in the first place after suffering from COVID and other personal issues.
It’s time for the organizations and the HR partners to focus more on employee wellness. Identifying individuals who has issues, appointment of certified life coaches to coach them to overcome their problems will give a trust and confidence in them. Structuring internal programmes to ease the stress will also benefit the employees to overcome the fatigue.

When one doesn’t sleep well, then the body’s immunity and the cognitive ability of the brain is adversely affected. Pl. note that we need a minimum of 6 hours of sound sleep.
People generally stressed up about their health, finance, fear of losing jobs, family, livelihood, relationships, their promotions, salary hike etc.… And because of that their quality of sleep is affected adversely.
It also leads to decreased quality of life, impact social relationship and metabolic complications.
Time to wakeup and overcome this issue which is getting increased every day.
